HOMELESS AND

OUT OF WORK 20 YEARS

I have not worked very much at all really since leaving the Army in 1978 except for working for very low pay at a local handicapped rehabilitation center in the South Florida area after re-injuring my previous handicap in 1997.

I have tried to find work but my handicap, I believe, must be to much of an insurance risk for employers to except me.  I guess this is why I have no home and no job or any way to find clothing or food today a condition now lasting through out more than 20 years of my life on the streets in America.

Sometimes it is very difficult to find food and clothing on the streets and difficult get clean and difficult to stay clean out here and most of the time months and years go by without a real shower or getting clean at all. My clothes rarely get clean and getting food requires asking people for extra change they may have in their pocket or extra money they may have or any extra food that they may have at business and local churches sometimes digging through the dumpster in back of supermarkets and other locations for scraps and sandwiches or donuts.

The same sometimes go’s for clothing where going into dumpsters for clothes that have been thrown out by department stores or thrift stores is the norm and blankets too and looking for bed sheets for damp and duey summer nights and sheets are good to ward off mosquitoes that permeate like a fog in the woods and the bushes at night sometimes.

I sometimes walk miles just to eat and to dig in dumpsters for blankets to keep warm and sometimes to find food. Some homeless choose to fish out of nearby streams and lakes to survive and others just dig in dumpsters for food every night.

To view where I'am currently homeless in the U.S. go to the MapQuest.com link below. Right now I'am currently having to walk between Southern Blvd and Lakeworth Rd. and between Military Trail and Florida Mango Rd on the map that links to Palm Springs, Florida

I want to retire from all of this and all I need is your help to do it. I would like to buy a small house or trailer somewhere and a car or truck to get around with and take care of the property for resale once I buy it.

Please help me do this I will greatly appreciate any help that you could offer. Americans help the world right now and you can help me too right here in the U.S.. Billions and trillions of dollars go’s out side our country every year to other nations and we too have problems here in the U.S. to solve. Please help!  I’am in desperate need of some assistance! There is no where to turn anymore after the economy had problems in 2008.

Right now I live in a small tent on the edge of town about 3 miles away from my mailing address. Tents are good and indispensable for use in the winter months but they usually begin to leak over time and covering them with plastic or a water proof tarp is a necessity for long term use.

                                     2 person tent $43.00

For many years I was living in cardboard boxes behind buildings and in bushes in parks and in abandoned lots around towns in Virginia and Florida.

Sometimes the rain was so heavy that the boxes would leak and then that begins a process of then needing to go dry out clothes in nearby laudromats and sometimes just laying your clothes out on the ground in the sun to dry. Cardboard boxes are very hot to sleep in during the summer and can be warm through the fall but do not work very well during the winter mounths.
